We all need to put a great deal of effort in the next month into trying to get every single registered voter out to vote in November and we need to make sure that it continues to happen every election.
We are a representative democracy and by getting everyone out to vote we will have local, state and federal governments that are doing what the majority of the people want.
Granted that this was originally put in place to prevent minorities from being completely disenfranchised but in todays world the 1% minority has managed to “purchase” most of the elected officials to some degree or other and by getting everyone out to vote we can tell the 1% to go screw themselves and start treating the rest of the country like real people instead of peasants.
This will also more than likely remove this partisan crap that is preventing the economy from growing in the correct direction to help all rather than just the very wealthy.
